Current Brothers
The primary user group for the Theta Delta Chi @ MSU website is the current brothers of the Michigan State chapter of TDX, both members and officers. The brothers are college students 18-24 years of age and are probably pretty tech-savvy.
Prospective Rushes
College students looking to join a Greek organization will visit the Theta Delta Chi website as well. Many of them will be linked to the TDX site from MSU's Greek Life. Prospective members want to know the who, what, when, where, and why of Theta Delta Chi. In order to attract new members, the site should be visually appealing and should stand out from other MSU fraternity sites.
Fraternity Alumni
Alumni play a large role in the Greek community and can therefore be expected to visit their former chapter TDX website. These users may want to check up on their former organization and see what their old fraternity is up to these days. Alumni may include older users who are not extremely comfortable with technology. It is important that the site appeals to alumni because they often supply donations. Hence, the site should be well-organized and easy (especially for older users) to read & navigate.
Potential Employers
Current and former fraternity brothers may list the organization in their resumes. Employers might then pay a visit to the Theta Delta Chi website to find out what the organization stands for and what skills or experiences the applicant may have gained as a result of this group. Therefore, the site should maintain an air of professionalism; appealing colors, tasteful graphics, and no party pictures or pictures of half-naked college girls.
